🌍 Pampady Block Panchayat – Geography

Pampady Block Panchayat is located in the central Kerala region of Kottayam district. The terrain of the area is generally characterized by midland landscapes consisting of small hills, slopes and valleys. These geographical features have a significant influence on agriculture, water availability and land use in the region.

The region mainly consists of laterite soil and other soil types formed through weathering processes. The soil characteristics and terrain are suitable for various agricultural crops such as rubber, coconut, tapioca, banana and pepper.

Small streams and natural drainage channels flow through different parts of Pampady Block Panchayat.
